Reception Reports

We are pleased to confirm your reception:

Amateur radio operators around the world often pick up signals during HAARP research campaigns. This webpage allows them to submit information about the radio signal they recorded as a reception report. HAARP staff can then use the information provided to confirm if the reception was indeed a HAARP transmission. If the reception report is confirmed, a QSL card confirming the reception will be sent (if requested). This card looks similar to a postcard, and functions as a way for amateur radio operators to prove that they received transmissions from a particular station. HAARP uses our QSL cards as a form of outreach and as a way of maintaining a relationship with the amateur radio community.

Amateur radio operators are invited to submit their reception reports using the form below. For information on upcoming HAARP transmissions, please see the Transmission Notices section of our website, located here: https://haarp.gi.alaska.edu/transmissions. These notices are also distributed to several amateur radio communities, such as the Amateur Radio Relay League, HamSCI, the Society of Amateur Radio Astronomers, and several others.

Please note that QSL cards will be sent on a time-available basis; expect at least a few weeks between submission of a report and confirmation.
